On Thursday 24 July 2018, the revised National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) was published by the Government. This is the first revision of the NPPF since it was first published in 2012. The document sets out the Government’s planning policies for England.

This revised document introduces a number of reforms, which were first introduced in the Housing White Paper, published in 2017.
